About us
KRAZ z.s. organises events for members of the furry community (as KRAZ, MiniCon or Fursuit Halloween Prague) for many years. Furrstein is our new member and we hope that you'll like it as same as we do.
Why Furrstein?
It is an event for every furry that wants to experience a different kind of a convention. The intention of our main organizer Moondancer (besides absolute perfection) was always a visual impression, the spirit of the place, which must charm and glamourize you so you will want to come back to this place again and again. That is why this convention is situated inside of a medieval castle Hauenstein, which is situated in the middle of the Krušné hills. Let this place fill you up with its unique atmosphere. Plus, by attending this convention, you contribute to the reconstruction of this beautiful place.
Fursuiters
We welcome our fursuiters open heartedly and we wish for the to feel pleasant around here in their human and furry form as well. You will be involved in competitions and the whole convention itself. Fursuit lounge will be secured on place. Plus, every day from 10am to 5pm the castle is opened for public, so you don't need to worry about lack of interaction.
Introduction
You can look forward to be accommodated inside a medieval castle Hauenstein, surrounded by a wilderness of Krušné hills and over 700 years old fortification.
The castle is filled up with knights and their squires, which will entertain you during the whole con. You will be able to try out archery or join our congame, which will lead you on a dangerous path around the night castle, meeting our hermite and solving his mysterious riddles.
If you feel worn out by running around the castle and feeling what was it like to live in a medieval times, our banquet hall will neverending fireplaces will sure come in handy. On Saturdays evening there'll even be held a real medieval feast! Just watch out for gunsmiths and throw a bone or two to local beggar.
Accomodation
For enhancing your medieval feelings you'll be accommodated inside the castle, in 6 separated rooms with capacity up to 69 people. Sanitary facilities will be available on site.
Food
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be all held in the banquet hall inside the castle. For your never ending thirst there is a castle refreshment stand with draught local brewed beer Chodovar, draught Kofola, cold and warm castle mead and other beverages.

As you surely know, organizing cons is not a gainful activity. All money collected as entry fees are spent on accommodation, food, competitions, games and workshop activities. To develop the consite furthermore, enlarge and improve its common areas and bring you more fun and joy, we need a sponsorship contributions, and for helping us this way you’ll be duly rewarded.
How to get here?
The Hauenstein castle (also known as Upper castle) is located about 130 km northwest from Prague, near the Ostrov and Klášterec nad Ohří cities. It is possible to travel by train to the Ostrov nad Ohří station, or by regional bus to the same city. There'll be a shuttle scheduled from the train station (more information about the shuttle will be in the registration email after selecting Shuttle option in registrations menu).
We understand that many of you will want to come on their own. We recommend to arrange a group ride through our official chatroom on Telegram. Parking is secured on a castles parking lot.
